Cam Newton was born to Cecil Newton Sr and to his wife Jackie Newton as Cameron Jerrell Newton on the 11th of May 1989 in College Park a suburb of Atlanta (the capital and the most populous city) of Georgia in the US. Newton’s father Cecil Newton Sr, was a safety for the Dallas Cowboys in 1983 and Buffalo Bills in 1984. His elder brother is Cecil Newton Jr is a former American football player who played for Jacksonville Jaguars in the Center position in NFL. His younger brother Caylin Newton played for the Howard Bison football team of Howard University as a quarterback in the mid-2010’s.
Camp Newton was both a baseball and basketball player but he stopped both in near future. He left baseball at the age of 14 due to fear of being hit by a pitch and quit basketball shortly because he couldn’t avoid foul trouble on the basketball court but also to concentrate on his football career in high school.
Cam Newton has studied in Camp Creek Middle School till 2002 and joined Westlake High School in 2003 and stayed there till his high school graduation. He attended the University of Florida, Blinn College, and then did his graduated in sociology fromAuburn University in 2015.

Newton stole Laptop from another University of Florida student for which he was charged with felony charges of burglary, larceny, and obstruction of Justice and subsequently dropped from the team. When campus police tried to track the location of the stolen laptop Newton in order to save himself from the police tossed the laptop from his dorm window. His charges were dropped when he completed a court-approved pre-trial diversion program. Newton has left the University of Florida due to fear of getting suspension or expulsion on three instances of academic cheating after the fall semester in 2008. Newton got transferred himself to Blinn College of Brenham (Texas) in January 2009 to play for head coach Brad Franchione after which he led his team to win the 2009 NJCAA National Football championship. Newton was the most recruited Juco quarterback in the country and named a Juco All-America honorable mention. During his recruitment, he signed with Auburn Tigers of Auburn University and started with a home win over Arkansas State on September 4, 2004. Newton led Auburn Tigers to defeat South Carolina 56-17 in the SEC Championship game by setting a record for most points scored and largest margin of victory on December 4th, 2010. Newton was named both AP and SEC 2010 player of the year. Auburn Tigers were invited for BCS National Championship Game after their win in SEC Championship, in which Auburn Tigers defeated Oregon Ducks just 22-19 for BCS National Championship Game on January 10, 2011, at Glendale, Arizona. After 3days of the BCS National Championship game, CAM Newton was declared for the 2011 NFL draft, forgoing his senior season.
Cam Newton won the Heisman trophy with a landslide victory in 2010 and the third Auburn player to achieve the trophy after Pat Sullivan and Bo Jackson. Newton also received many awards in the same year like Maxwell Award, Walter Camp Award, Davey O’Brien Award, Manning Award, and Consensus first-team All-American, etc.
Cam Newton played for Carolina Panthers from 2011 – 2019 and currently playing for New England Patriots from 2020 in NFL. Newton won both NFL's most valuable and offensive player of the year award in 2015. He won NFL offensive rookie of the year in 2011.
